Delete account / data request
You can delete your EzGym account and associated personal data at any time. There is no fee. The fastest way is Delete account in the iPhone app Settings. Email support remains available as a backup.
How to delete your account
- In the iPhone app (preferred): open Settings, then tap Delete account. Confirm the alert. This permanently deletes your schedules and workout logs on the server and signs you out. It cannot be undone.
- Email backup: if you cannot use the app, email support@ezgym.fit from the email address associated with your account (or tell us you use Sign in with Apple and include enough detail for us to identify the account). Use a clear subject such as "EzGym account deletion request". Include your account email (if any), Apple private relay email if that is what we have on file, and a confirmation that you want the account and workout data deleted.
What we delete
When we process a verified request, we delete or de-identify:
- Your user account record (name, email, Apple subject identifier, tokens)
- Weekday plans, exercises, logged strength sets, and cardio efforts stored for that account on our servers
What we may retain briefly
We may retain limited records needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance (for example, a log that a deletion request was completed). We do not keep your workout history for marketing after deletion.
Apple Health data
Workouts EzGym saved to Apple Health (cardio workouts and routes) stay in the Health app, under your control. Deleting your EzGym account does not remove them. You can delete those workouts in the Health app, or turn off EzGym's access in the iPhone Settings app under Health.
Strength data is stored in EzGym's database (not written to Apple Health) and is removed with your account deletion on our servers.
iPhone and Apple Watch
Deleting your account signs you out and clears EzGym's data on your iPhone. The Apple Watch app keeps its small local copy of recent workouts until you remove EzGym from the Watch. For Sign in with Apple accounts, the app also asks Apple to revoke EzGym's access.
Timing
Deleting from Settings in the iPhone app removes your account on the server right away. For email requests, we aim to complete verified deletion within 30 days, and usually sooner. You will receive a confirmation email when an email request is finished (or if we need more information to verify the account).
