EzGym is a simple workout log for iPhone with an Apple Watch app. This page explains what EzGym collects, why, where it is kept, and how to delete it. In short: we collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell it, and we do no tracking or advertising.

1. Your account

2. Your workouts

We store your weekly schedule, exercises, and logged strength sets (reps, weight, unit) on our server so your history is the same on every device and after a reinstall. For cardio we store the type, start and end time, duration, distance, average heart rate, active and total calories, elevation gain, and the Apple Health workout ID.

3. Location and routes

When you start an outdoor walk, run, or cycle, EzGym uses your precise location to record the route. Location is used only during a workout you start: it keeps recording while your iPhone is locked (iOS shows the blue location indicator) and stops when the workout ends. EzGym does not track your location at any other time.

Route points (latitude, longitude, altitude, time) are kept on your device, saved to your EzGym account so the app can show the map and splits, and saved to Apple Health with the workout.

4. Apple Health

With your permission, EzGym uses Apple Health (HealthKit):

Health data is used only to provide EzGym's features. It is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with data brokers. You can change access any time in the iPhone Settings app under Health, Data Access and Devices, EzGym.

5. Apple Watch

The EzGym Watch app records heart rate, calories, distance, and the route of workouts you start (or that you start on your iPhone). It saves the workout to Apple Health and sends it to your iPhone and your EzGym account. The Watch keeps a small local copy of recent workouts and your sign-in until you remove the app.

6. Tips

Optional tips are In-App Purchases handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details, and tips are not linked to your EzGym account.

7. Sharing workouts

You can share a workout day or your week with a link. The link holds only the weekday, the exercise and cardio names, and the sets, reps, time, or distance you planned. It never holds your name, email, logged workouts, weights, Apple Health data, or location. Exercise names are checked by our server before a link is made, and anyone who opens a link can report it.

Anyone with the link can see it until it stops working, which is 30 days after you last share it (tapping Share again in Settings, Shared links starts the 30 days over), or sooner if you turn it off there. When someone adds a shared workout, it is copied into their own schedule and no longer connected to you. When you delete your account, your shared links are deleted too.

8. What we do not do

9. Service providers

We use a small number of providers that process data only to run EzGym:

Our server also receives standard technical information such as IP address and request times, used only to run and secure the service. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

10. Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Settings, Account, Delete account. This immediately deletes your account, schedule, and workout history from our server, and for Sign in with Apple accounts asks Apple to revoke EzGym's access, and turns off any workout links you shared. You can also ask by email; see Delete account / data request.

Workouts already saved to Apple Health stay in the Health app until you delete them there. Data stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch is removed when you delete the app.

11. Children

EzGym is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
